Entire Sculpture
is approx. 4 inches tall. Peatree's arms span 5 inches as he joyfully beats
his drum. The drum is made with a citrine quartz base and cotton cord.
As I was strolling,
as I often do, trough a beautiful tropical rain forest, on a quiet peaceful
day, my attention was drawn to the beat of a joyous song and vigorous drum.
There on the stones I found a little gargoyle, with a zest for life and
joy unmatched by any living creature. I did not want to interrupt his wonderful
serenade, so I quietly observed as the joy spread!
I made this likeness
of Peatree while I watched the gargoyle sing and drum all summer afternoon!
